Paul's most adorable parents called us during the Colts game yesterday to tell us about these hilarious snowmen they made Sunday afternoon. Dan said they "had fun with some rather strange Colts fans today - before the game of course." These are about the cutest snowmen I have ever seen. I think it takes some rather specific skills to fashion the arms in the "TOUCHDOWN" position....and one in a rocking chair? Genius! Yay for the Colts and yay for Paul's creative parents.

OH MY GOODNESS. I love it. I have not a clue as to how to do this. My snowman skills are a bit lacking. GO COLTS.
Building a unique and powerful snowman is not a natural born skill, nor is it for the faint-of-heart. It is a kid-learned ability that must be honed throughout adolescence and on into adulthood. Usually, the motivation to initiate and exercise this skill is ignited by a parent or other adult mentor. However, snowmen can be constructed by virtually anyone (believe it or not).
This passtime provides hours of "cold/wet" fun for at least two people of opposite opinion who are unafraid to assertively share their genius regardless of the other's response (which is usually a snowball in the face-ouch!). You only see the frendly picts of the final product.
Yet,... it was great fun and so is the cold you get afterward.
